A thousand pictures
I started going through the thousands of pictures I have taken over the last 15 months to select the ones that I will use to make their first year photo album. I’m up to September, so I’m almost ready to start editing through the 400+ pictures I have selected as my favorites to put in the book. While working on this daunting task I decided a few things , first, from now on I will choose my favorites from each month as I upload the pictures. Maybe not the same day, I may wait a few weeks since what I will want to remember may change or look different as some time has passed, but I certainly won’t wait until the end of the year to try and tackle 12 months at once again. Second, I want to remember their sweet changing faces and the small details. The first few curls, they way they play with each other so gently, when they learned to get on the couch – almost all by them selves. I want to remember to take the time to take pictures of the things I think about as I am falling asleep at night and am so thankful for having witnessed that day. These are a few recent images that will be in their second year photo album.
