I’m totally obsessed with babies shoes. They are just so cute! And they are just as fabulous ( sometimes more so) than women’s shoes but they cost a fraction of what women’s shoes do. Granted babies will only be able to wear them for a maximum of about six months ( I think) probably less, but isn’t it worth it. They are just so cute!
And for a really special occasion or feet that maybe will stay the same size for a while check out the amazing creations over at Joyfolie.
So far the only “shoes” our babies have worn are these cute little creations that were a gift from my aunt. They are basically a garter sewn in a figure 8 with a flower attached. But they are fun for pictures. I mean what baby doesn’t need flowers attached their feet?!
Not to worry the girls HAVE shoes, they just don’t fit them yet. And with summer fast approaching I don’t think we’ll worry much about footwear until fall. I read that it’s best to let babies learn to crawl and walk without shoes so their feet and muscles can develop naturally.
Have a great long weekend!
I love getting my babies dressed. They have so much clothing, especially right now because thy are in 6 month size and somehow I ended up with a mountain of 6 month clothing. There is a lot to do in the mornings it’s not eat to get two babies in clean diapers, breast fed and then bottle fed, changed again, and now that they are almost 6 months old we have started solids! Pictures to come soon. So getting a few spoons of mashed avocado has also been added to our routine. All this in an hour and half, then we lay in bed together and read a story before they drift off to sleep for their morning nap and I head off to work. Yesterday I didn’t have time to actually dress them before I left but I did pick out their outfits and our nanny sent me pictures of how cute they looked while I was at work.
I love pinterest. When I need a mental break I always check to see what has been pinned recently. Today I saw this, my heart melted a little. Which led me to this new bolg, lovley. I love the internet
Here are two more things that I Really love a lot,
Talia and Jordan went to a tea party in honor of their friend Livia at her grandmas house. It was a beautiful party, there were scones with jam and clotted cream, tuna salad sandwiches with the crusts cut off and pink lemon aid with striped straws!
Here we are with Livia, her mom Saren and our friend Jamie. Livia is wearing a white dress by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Saren is wearing a teal pin tuck dress by Calvin Klien. The girls have on sweater knit outfits by Missoni for Target over a Carter’s bodysuit and baby gap socks. I’m wearing a printed rayon top from Anthropologie and black maternity leggings from Old Navy, they are the most comfortable! And Jaime (my special helper at the party) is wearing a black house white market sweater that was ok to be spit up on and black banana republic size 0 jeans. Thanks for helping me Jamie!
I really hate my hands, I can’t figure out if moving them or keeping them resting feels better, because they just hurt so much. There’s not much I can do these days, even typing this is painful, but at the same time it takes my mind off the pain for a bit.
My friend at work and I took another instagram break on Friday, it was 1000 degrees out but I liked the outfit I had on for instagram.
In other news the house us still a work in progress but I love it already. And we went to our labor and delivery class for multiples today, 6 hours of how, what and why of childbirth of twins, at first it seems like there are so many choices to be made but at the same time the dr is going to do what is best for mom and babies and it my job as the mom to be ok with it and go with the flow.
Enjoy the pics!
